Growing
to 6-7 feet, the Western Diamondback Rattlesnake is the largest
Western rattlesnake. The diamond shape patterns on its back
gives it its name. The Western Diamondback is in the top 3
poisonous snakes in North America delivering the largest amount
of venom and the most deadliest bite.
Please be advised that venomous snakes like the Western Diamondback
do not seek off humans. Rattlesnakes in North America are
endangered and we must recognize our fears and decrease the
slaughter of these snakes.
Thanks to Bwana Jim for the great photographs of this Western
